Boiled sweet potato – 1/2 kg, ghee – 2 teaspoons, finely chopped coriander – 2 tsp coriander, red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon, chaat masala – 1 teaspoon, rock salt – 1 teaspoon, lemon juice – 2 Spoon, mint chutney – 2 teaspoons, tamarind chutney – 1 teaspoon. Pomegranate seeds – 1-2 tsp, Roasted peanuts – 1/2 cup, mint leaves – -5, Chaat masala – 1 teaspoon (optional)

Method of making

Boil the sweet potato and peel it. When boiling, cut it into pieces.

Heat the ghee in the pan and fry the sweet potato.

Fry them till they become light golden brown.

Add coriander, red chili powder, and chaat masala in a bowl and mix.

Then add rock salt and mix it well.

Add the sweet potato and mix all the ingredients well.

Garnish with pomegranate seeds, roasted peanuts, coriander leaves and mint leaves.

Add chaat masala on top and taste it.

Soaked sabudana – 1 cup, boiled potatoes – 3, tamarind chutney – 1/2 cup, green chutney – 1/2 cup, curd – 1 cup, red chili powder – 1/2 tsp, peanuts – roasted, crushed, Finely chopped green chilies – 2, grated ginger – 1/4 tsp, cumin – 1/4 tsp, lemon juice – 1/2 tsp, chopped coriander – 2 tbsp, rock salt – as per taste, ghee – As required

Method of making

Now soak sago in a large mixing bowl.

Add boiled and mashed potatoes, peanuts, ginger, green chillies, coriander, cumin, lemon juice, and rock salt.

Rub all the ingredients well.

Make 10-12 balls from this mixture and flatten them into vadas.

Fry them on medium heat in hot ghee or oil used in fasting till they turn golden brown.

Take out sabudana vadas in a serving plate.

Add yogurt, tamarind chutney and green chutney to it.

Sprinkle red chili powder and cumin powder on top.

Garnish with coriander and taste it.

Potato Chaat

Boiled potatoes in medium size – 4, ghee or fasting oil – 1 tbsp, lemon juice – 1 tbsp, red chili powder – 1 tsp, dried mint leaves – 1 tsp, roasted ground cumin – 2 tsp, rock salt – Coriander as per taste – for garnishing

Method of making

Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces.

Heat oil/ghee in a pan and fry potatoes.

Fry the potatoes till they turn golden.

Remove the potatoes to a bowl and mix the rest of the ingredients well.

Add green coriander and lemon juice.

Serve hot and taste it.
