Aren’t photos incredible? You like something, you want to remember it. All you have to do is press ‘click’ and now you can keep the memory with you forever. Pictures are snapshots of joyous occasions of our life and each photo tells a story.
We’re lucky to live in times where photography itself has made so many advancements. The amount of equipment available to take pictures is mind-boggling.
You’ve got your drones, DSLRs, instant cameras, and so much more!
All of these incredible new inventions can be overwhelming, even for an experienced photographer, let alone a newbie.
With each new camera, we see better results and picture quality. Your smile basically keeps on getting upgraded. No complaints there.
A wedding is a ceremony where two people are united in marriage. It’s an event of a lifetime!
Now, what is the link between weddings and photos?
As I mentioned before, we take pictures of the moments we want to remember and keep with us forever. I’m pretty sure you would want to remember the day you get married. This is where a wedding photographer comes in.
Hiring A Wedding Photographer
I don’t know about you but I’m very choosy about everything. I think a better word would be to say that I’m ‘specific’. No matter what I want, I always have a game plan in my head, and everything else has to go accordingly.
As a wedding photographer in Minneapolis myself, I have seen that many people suffer from the capability of making a decision. This is one of the many reasons why you, need a photographer.
Why You Need A Photographer
Hiring a photographer is a must when it comes to weddings. I mean, come on, it’s a no-brainer. A wedding is an extravagant event that symbolizes the love of two people for each other. How can you not want to capture that?
If you ask me, I want it all. I want pictures showing my groom being all nervous, him crying when he sees me all dressed up ( he better cry), my parent’s love, the smiles of my friends. I want it all! There is no way all of this can be captured without the help of a photographer.
Qualities To Look For In A Wedding Photographer
Calling yourself a photographer is as easy as singing the alphabet song. Any person that calls himself/ herself a photographer, should be aware of technical terms like, exposure, brightness, contrast, editing, and more. I 100% believe that each photographer has their own strengths and each person has a unique way of working. It’s like they bring their own touch to the photos.
One thing I will say is that a photographer should be patient. Weddings can get crazy and so adding an easily irritable photographer to the mix is bound to cause several problems.
Pick a photographer that is both talented and calm. Meet with the photographer and have a conversation with them. Tell them about all your ideas and make sure to see how they react to your ideas. It’s a plus point if you can judge their character and assess their tolerance level.
Once you’re positive that you’ve found just the photographer, then pay them an advance and you’re all set.
I love weddings and, I love seeing people happy. As a photographer, it is part of my job to keep people smiling by capturing their emotions for eternity.
If you plan on hiring someone like me, then you have nothing to worry about. Your wedding will be my priority. I will make sure you get the best photos of your life!
