I 100% believe that each photographer has their own strengths and each person has a unique way of working. It’s like they bring their own touch to the photos.
One thing I will say is that a photographer should be patient. Weddings can get crazy and so adding an easily irritable photographer to the mix is bound to cause several problems.
Pick a photographer that is both talented and calm. Meet with the photographer and have a conversation with them. Tell them about all your ideas and make sure to see how they react to your ideas. It’s a plus point if you can judge their character and assess their tolerance level.
Once you’re positive that you’ve found just the photographer, then pay them an advance and you’re all set.
