Modi Government’s Decision Now Rajpath And Central Vista Will Be Known As Duty Path

Rajpath & Central Vista Rename: Taking a big decision, the Narendra Modi government at the Center has decided to rename Rajpath and Central Vista. News agency ANI quoted sources as saying that Rajpath and Central Vista will now be known as ‘Kartavya Path’. After the change of name, the entire area from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s statue to Rashtrapati Bhavan will now be known as ‘Durty Path’.

Central Vista will open from this week

Central Vista Project: Central Vista Avenue (the area on either side of the Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate), a major part of the Central Vista Project, is now fully completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Central Vista Avenue on 8 September. Central Vista Avenue is considered to be the city’s most popular public space. Red granite has been used on the pedestrian path in this avenue. Greenery surrounds Central Vista Avenue. However, compared to before, this area has changed a lot now.
